Saša Pavlin Stošić graduated in stage acting at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television, University of Ljubljana in the class of Matjaž Zupančič and Boris Ostan. She started her career as a freelance actress and during this period she worked in several Slovenian theatres and participated in many non-institutional projects (Ljubljana City Theatre, Mini Teater, Prešeren Theatre Kranj, Ptuj City Theatre, SNT Nova Gorica, Slovene Permanent Theatre Trieste, Italy, Anton Podbevšek Theatre, Ljubljana Puppet Theatre, Bunker, Cankarjev dom). She is a versatile contemporary actress of dramatic and post-dramatic repertoire. Among many projects, she has most notably worked several times with the director Ivica Buljan. At the Drama Ljubljana she appeared for the first time in the 2016/17 season in the production of Merlin or The Waste Land by Tankred Dorst, directed by Aleksandar Popovski. She has also appears regularly in film and on television.
