From September 2024, the SNT Drama Ljubljana operates in the event venue in Litostrojska cesta 56, known as L56. During the renovation of the “old” Drama in Erjavčeva cesta, the entire premises will be used exclusively for SNT Drama Ljubljana’s programme. The existing hall has been completely converted to meet the needs of the audience and Drama’s activities. The two central halls ̶ the Main Stage and the Small Stage have been built from scratch. Both have their own access and their own foyer with cloakrooms. They will be heated in cold weather and cooled in warm weather. They are accessible for persons with mobility impairment.
The seating rows in the Main Stage Hall (360 seats) are at a gentle incline and spaced for comfortable seating. The seating layout has been designed with good visibility in mind. The entrance to the Main Stage Hall and the Box Office is in Ulica Alme Sodnik.
The 100-seat Small Stage Hall is designed as a simply shaped black box with a gently sloping auditorium. In front of the entrance to the Small Stage is a small park with a staircase and a ramp.
For more than fifty years, the Small Stage has continued to be a venue and a programming platform for staging mainly chamber plays, Slovenian and international alike, especially contemporary.
