Literary Journeys with Beletrina

The Rings of Saturn by W. G. Sebald

Sebald’s novel The Rings of Saturn is a fictitious travel book, describing the protagonists’ journeys in the county of Suffolk on the English east coast. However, the topography of the novel is only a method for a pilgrimage to human interiors and to the past, tracing stories and adventures inscribed in memory. The book and the author will be presented by Manca G. Renko, a literary critic and editor, in conversation with her guests. Excerpts from the novel will be read by Brane Grubar, a retired member of the SNT Drama Ljubljana ensemble.

Thursday, 15 December at 17.00.
Tickets (2€) for the talk are available at the Drama Box Office. No admission fee for members of Drama Club, Teen Club and Hamlet Club. Book early to avoid disappointment.
