Since 2010, AirBeletrina has held a competition for the best short story. A jury panel selects top five among the stories entered. The shortlisted ones can be heard by the audience at a special pre-Christmas literary evening. At the end of the evening, the jury announces the winning story of the year. The announcement is followed by a convivial literary get-together.

This year the event will take place on Thursday, 13 December at 20.00 at the Drama Café. The evening will be hosted by Manca G. Renko, editor -in-chief of AirBeletrina. The stories will be read by actor Benjamin Krnetić.
