Severa Gjurin, a female music artist with a big A, returns to the Drama Ljubljana with a concert on the Main Stage on Sunday, 17 December and on Sunday, 7 January at 19.00. Her extraordinary vocal will be accompanied by a quartet featuring guitarists Dejan Lapanja and Uroš Rakovec, Žiga Golob on bass, and Blaž Celarec on drums. The acoustic band came together for the first time in 2012 and gave its first concert in March 2013, playing to a sold out SiTi Theatre BTC. They present a versatile playlist, featuring newly composed Severa’s songs, such as Is There Any Room Down South?, Windmills and Winds, Sow Unto Me, Music for Grannies, As if Nothing Happened, and as well as an original reinterpretation of Severa’s multi-faceted music history.
The Sunday concert will present a mix of different sounds and contents, inimitable to individual musicians with an extremely wide range of music background, sharing a commitment to form, feeling and interpretation.
