Severa and Gal Gjurin will spellbind us during an evening of lyricism and original music with a specially attuned acoustic sound.
The concert will be a journey across several soundscapes, including the minimalism of one and two voices, the intimacy of a group sound and the string arrangements. The accompanying group consists of experienced and emerging musicians, forming a sophisticated collective with whom the artists work on a regular basis. Gal is also releasing a new album in Canada, where he currently works, while Severa will present her latest original material. There will be a wealth of new songs along the familiar ones. The emphasized folk song character and lyricism of their music will resound particularly well in the soundscape, designed for the occasion, in new arrangements under the fingers and bows of the string quartet. A magical evening of vocal harmony and powerful original music is not to be missed.
On Sunday, 12 and 19 January at 19.00 on the Main Stage.
