The Magic for Realists is a book of essays by Irena Štaudohar, journalist at Delo Newspaper. In her essays she discusses the various human states and emotions, what the brains and senses are capable of. The message of the essays is that a man in his mind and body holds all the predispositions to be good. The essays, which were firstly published as newspaper articles in the Saturday Supplement of Delo Newspaper, are now formed as stories based on the latest neurological discoveries. The Magic for Realists is a philosophical and therapeutic book as it speaks of human will and its power – the will to live. Neda Pagon will talk to the author in the Drama Café, and Maja Sever, a member of the SNT Drama Ljubljana ensemble, will read the excerpts.
