We raise our voices; not only the voices that would like to say something, not even those who would like to sing. We raise our inner voices that cannot be silenced. Raising the Voice features a voice of an actress and a voice of theatre. A dramatic confrontation, ranging from pain to silence. What does my skin sound like? How does the audience breathe? Raising the Voice, a suite for actress, piano, accordion, marimba, bass and percussion, will be performed at the concert for the first time.
