Dear Sir or Madam,

It is due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control that we must adjust the repertoire for the 2025/26 season and postpone the staging of Bertolt Brecht’s Master Puntila and His Valet Matti, directed by Igor Pison. The premiere was originally planned for January 2026 on the Main Stage. We will make every effort to present the announced production in one of the upcoming seasons.

To ensure the timely and complete delivery of this season’s subscription programme, we have decided to replace the originally scheduled third premiere on the Main Stage with a production of Dane Zajc’s poetic play Voranc, directed by Živa Bizovičar. This solution allows us to respect the promised timeline for this season.

The production of Voranc by Dane Zajc will be altered for the direction and set design of the Main Stage of SNT Drama Ljubljana and will premiere on Saturday, 31 January 2026. It will feature Drama ensemble members Janez Škof, Petra Govc, Domen Novak, Uroš Fürst, Nejc Cijan Garlatti, Sabina Kogovšek, and Mina Švajger, along with musician Gašper Lovrec.

 As part of the Superabonma programme, in which we promised eight new premieres in the 2025/26 season plus a performance of your choice, we are currently in intensive negotiations to secure a suitable replacement production for the Small Stage.
