Janko Kos, a legendary professor of the Department of Comparative Literature and Literary Theory at the University of Ljubljana, co-editor of several journals and chief editor of the literary lexicon, already as a young man ‘dedicated his life to writing about literature’ and he remained loyal to it, as he puts it in his new book Umetniki in meščani (Artists and Citizens).

Editor of Beletrina Publishing House Mitja Čander will talk to the author, excerpts from the book will be interpreted by a member of the SNT Drama Ljubljana ensemble Marko Okorn.
